THE MUCH AWAITED MALAYSIAN IN-LINE HOCKEY TOURNAMENT

Updates as of AUGUST 2009

Last April 2009, In-line hockey players across the country gathered to participate in a 1 day hockey tournament. The group also had special guests from Malaysia, who also participated in the said event.

The Roosters are now gathering players for the upcoming In-Line hockey International tournament in Malaysia this February 2010. There are other tournaments in Asia this year, but the group has collectively decided to go to Malaysia first.

Games/Trainings are held every Saturdays only. Players are expected to train on their own...

Ayi, he hails from the icky south and spends his time watching hockey, doing errands for his mom, sending out job applications, thinking about Joan and blogging. He drives a reliable Starex van, which has been with him for 8 years.

Rt hails from the dirty north. During his spare time, he watches cinema one to catch his favorite Tagalog movies. He is currently taking up his higher education in the state university where he is a scholar. His car was hit on the rear end during his birthday while it was PARKED. He's always late .

Gino or as his friends call him "LA", is the number one fan of Bolton Celtics, the pimp in the group, who always makes every party memorable. He is known for his snide/witty remarks and you would often catch him flirting with a smelly foreigner.

Fact: The only guy in the team to drink another guy's piss. Mistaking it for beer.

You can always spot this fella at PLATO (his own bar) drinking the night away while holding Cler's hand. He is known for his undeniably smelly gears and his fine table manners. Do not give the MIC to this person, if you don't want to be swept away with his chart topping karaoke voice.

French is the Captain of the Roosters. He is known for his drinking skills and his charm with the ladies. When intoxicated with alcohol, his speech becomes a blur and he would always preach his undying love for Rhoey. This toughie can also be a softeeee when it comes to Hockey. BEWARE: his one for the road means "LET's FINISH ALL THE ALCOHOLIC DRINKS IN FRONT OF US" or "6 BEERS".

Joey has an intense personality which makes him look like he's going to eat you alive. But once you get to know him, he's actually a sweet person. He's also a black belter in Taekwondo and he neither drinks nor smoke.

Occupation: Diver (Specializes in base jumping)

Jason's story as to how he became a Rooster is very simple. Days before the first MIHT, Jaja went to Singapore to skate around before the Malaysian tournament. She saw Jason there and asked if he is going to Malaysia for the In-line hockey tournament. Fortunately, Jason wants to go but he doesn't have a team. Since Jaja knew that the Roosters needed more skaters in the team, she asked Jason to join the roster (hoping the Roosters won't get mad because she recruited Jason in their team without their consent). The rest was history. MIHT participants will always remember Jason as the drunk Rooster who did a diving stunt in Shahs hotel during MIHT10. Imagine diving 10 feet..piss ass drunk.. now that's what we call drunk diving.
